HSc (general) stream results: City has highest and lowest scoring exam centres
As the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board ( GSHSEB) declared HSc (general) stream result on Monday, exam centres in the city registered highest and lowest pass percentages.
Of the total 22 exam centres in Vadodara district, the Mook Badhir exam centre at Raopura registered the highest pass percent; 93.62 %. The lowest pass percentage in the district was also of a city-based exam centre. The Atladra exam centre in the city scored the lowest pass percentage at 36.19 percent.
The 22 exam centres in the district were equally divided into 11 in urban Vadodara and the rest 11 in rural Vadodara. Amongst the 11 exam centres in rural Vadodara, Shinor exam centre scored the highest – 90.56 % whereas Bodeli exam centre scored the lowest – 54.49 %.
It is worth mentioning here that Vadodara district average stood at 59.71 percent with a total of 18021 students (of the total 30179 who had appeared for the exam) clearing the exams by securing D grade and above.
Other exam centres in the city registered pass percent varying from 48 to 78 pass percentage. If Mandvi centre scored 48.20, Indrapuri 58.20, Pratapnagar 63.04, Sayajigunj 54.23, Chhani 65.93, Fatehgunj 53.21, Raopura 52.16, Sama and Manjalpur centres scored, 78.40 and 55.07 respectively.
Amongst rural centres, Chhottaudepur registered 67.01, Dabhoi 61.46, Padra 69.76, Savli 75.16, Sankheda 73.45, Karjan 59.66, Pavi Jetpur 55.67, Waghodiya 65.71 and Naswadi 68.25 %.
