DU Registration Process 2013: 42,000 forms sold on first day
On day one of registration to Delhi University’s four-year undergraduate programme (FYUP), over 42,000 admission forms were sold, a university official said.
“There has been a record sale this year as 42,860 forms were sold compared to last year where the figure stood approximately at 30,000,” Avinashi Kapoor, professor and joint dean, students’ welfare, south campus, Delhi University said.
The admission process at the university began on June 5.
DU has made arrangements for both online and offline registrations with the introduction of FYUP.
“The online registration number touched 7,385, almost three times that of last year’s figure,” Kapoor said.
